Meet Dr. Cherie De Vore, the first Native American professor in the University of Arizona’s School of Engineering. A Diné scholar and assistant professor of chemical and environmental engineering, she leads the Níhí Biogeochemistry Environmental Engineering Lab, where engineering, environmental science, and Indigenous knowledge come together.
