Sky is Cherokee and Mvskoke. Sky graduated from Northeastern State University in 2017 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Geography and in 2019 with a Master of Science in Higher Education. Currently, Sky is a PhD. Candidate in the Higher Education program at the University of Arkansas. 

Throughout her undergraduate years, Sky was a part of AISES, the Riverhawks Initiating Service and Engagement Scholarship Program, the Native American Student Association, and she served as Miss Cherokee 2016. Sky is a former United National Indian Tribal Youth, Inc. (UNITY) 25 under 25 and Earth Ambassador recipient. In 2018, Sky completed the Cherokee Nation Remember the Removal Bike Ride program with team members from both the Cherokee Nation and the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians where they rode approximately 950 miles from New Echota, Georgia, to Tahlequah, OK, on the Northern route of the Trail of Tears.

Sky currently resides in Tulsa, OK. with her husband Sequoyah and their two dogs Enola and Bepsi and cat Sid. She enjoys cycling, hiking, and kayaking.
