The American Indian Science and Engineering Society (AISES) is a national nonprofit organization focused on substantially increasing the representation of Indigenous peoples of North America and the Pacific Islands in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) studies and careers.

Our Vision

The vision of the American Indian Science and Engineering Society (AISES) is for the next seven generations of Native people to be successful, respected, influential, and contributing members of our vast and ever-changing global community.

Through the quality and reach of our programs and the longevity and devoted commitment of its “family,” AISES is the leader in STEM opportunity in Indian Country. Members from over 200 tribal nations are represented within AISES, and AISES enjoys the support and partnership of corporate, government, academic, and tribal decision-makers.

AISES creates and provides programs, events, projects, initiatives, and financial resources for Native college students to increase access to and boost success in STEM studies and career development

AISES identifies and engages in strategic partnerships and conducts research to further our mission of substantially increasing the representation of Natives in STEM studies and careers
