Managing Director of Special Events
Katherine Cristiano

As Managing Director of Special Events, Katherine Cristiano excels in building external relationships, creating an exceptional level of customer service, and overseeing multiple logistics of events and meetings to diverse individuals and audiences who are networked with AISES. Her goal is to design events that exceed organizational benchmarks and are achieved with finesse and total satisfaction. Her skilled background in sales, business, information technology, and communication are immensely valuable as an event professional. After all, event planning has been labeled as one of the toughest jobs in the world. It is a non-static profession that requires stunner organizational skills, goal planning, juggling various tasks all day, attention to detail, and squeezing every minute of the day to get the job done. The success of an event comes down to persistence, patience, listening, grit, and the ability to deal with snafus with a smile.

Since 2013, Katherine has worked at AISES in executive, program and special event roles, and nothing compares to the warm fuzzy feels of the exceptional family and friends she has made in her time at AISES. The unforgettable gifted honor of becoming an AISES Sequoyah fellow is near the top of her list of “best AISES moments.”

A resident of Longmont, Colorado, Katherine completed a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Northern Colorado. Over her career, she’s worked for a satellite broadcasting company, staffing company, and a sports equipment company. As a military brat, Katherine has traveled the world; interacting with many cultures and varied environments; and she learned to accept the surprise of not knowing what comes next. It shaped and helped her to grow into the person that she is. It had a profound influence and her desire to serve others evidenced by her connections to her local community.
