Karen English began her career teaching college history courses, then moved to publishing when she was drafted to work on the multivolume book series The Vietnam Experience. She went on to edit other continuity book series, as well as business and consumer newsletters and direct marketing collateral. During her tenure in custom publishing, she has been editing magazines and associated content, both print and digital. She has worked on award-winning publications for several global companies and associations, including Continental Airlines, Western Union, UAW-Chrysler, Fidelity Investments, the University of Pennsylvania Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology, the Jones Graduate School of Business at Rice University, Oppenheimer Funds, Schlumberger, Medtronic, and Sotheby's, among others. Karen is also a member of the Senior Affiliated Faculty at Emerson College, where she teaches editing to graduate students in publishing. She has been the editor of Winds of Change since 2010.
