,Dr. Megan Bang has been named senior vice president of the Spencer Foundation in Chicago. The foundation focuses on research in the  eld of education. Dr. Bang also serves on the Board of Science Education at the National Academy of Sciences and the editorial boards of several journals.
,Aaron Yazzie celebrated the launch of his  rst hardware into space, making its way from Earth to Mars. Yazzie is a mechanical engineer at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory.
,Zack McDonald, who holds the record among College Chapter members at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ont., for the most AISES events attended —  ve Regional, Leadership, and National Confer- ences — has graduated with a degree in chemical engineering with professional internship. He is starting his career at Shell Canada.
