Taylor Kingsbery serves as the Senior Director of Business Development at AISES, where she helps lead efforts to foster strategic partnerships, manage all business development activities for AISES annual events, and serve as staff liaison for the AISES Corporate Advisory Council, all to support Indigenous representation in STEM fields. Born and raised in Oklahoma, Taylor is a proud enrolled citizen of the Chickasaw Nation and a descendant of the Choctaw Nation. She has dedicated her career to advancing opportunities for Indigenous communities through education, workforce development, and renewable energy initiatives.
With experience in fundraising, grant development, and project management, Taylor has secured millions in funding for impactful programs. She has worked with organizations such as GRID Alternatives, where she specialized in corporate and foundation partnerships and grants, and the American Indian College Fund, contributing to higher education access for Indigenous students at Tribal Colleges and Universities.
Taylor holds a Master of Legal Studies in Indigenous Peoples Law and a Master of Science in Native American Studies. She is a Level 1 Chickasaw Language Certificate holder passionate about tribal language preservation.
She serves as the Board Chair for the Denver Indian Family Resource Center and is a board member of the Women’s Lobby of Colorado.
Now, Taylor resides in Longmont, Colorado, with her partner, son, and a house full of pets. When she isn’t working, Taylor loves to run outside with her border collie, Aponi, sewing clothes for herself or friends, or reading a horror novel.
