PK-12 Program Officer

Raven Dial-Stanley is an enrolled member of the Lumbee Tribe from Greensboro, North Carolina, whose work centers on Indigenous art, education, and community engagement. She joined the AISES in January 2025 as a part-time PK–12 Programs Officer, where she supported the implementation of the FIIRE (Fostering Indigenous Innovation in Robotics Education) program. In her role, she collaborates with colleagues to develop AISES Clubs and contributes to the planning of the National Advancing Indigenous Science and Engineering Fair (NAISEF), expanding access to STEM opportunities for Indigenous students.

Raven earned her degree in Consumer, Apparel, and Retail Studies with a minor in Apparel Product Design from UNC Greensboro and previously worked as a denim designer for Lee before transitioning into freelance creative work. She is also an Indigenous illustrator/ graphic designer and the creator of an Indigenous coloring book dedicated to her grandmother, now carried in multiple stores across Turtle Island. In addition, she is the founder and creative director of her streetwear brand, Original Peoples, which reimagines traditional Indigenous elements through a modern design lens.

A former Miss Indian North Carolina (2018–2019), following in the footsteps of her mother, she is the first legacy of Miss Indian North Carolina. Raven is also a member of Alpha Pi Omega Sorority, Inc., the first and oldest Indigenous sorority in the nation. Through all of her work, Raven remains committed to uplifting Indigenous voices and creating culturally grounded opportunities for future generations.
