Taylor KnifeChief is a citizen of the Navajo Nation. She grew up in Winslow, Arizona, but her maternal roots are from Querino, Arizona. Her clans are Bit’ahnii (Folded Arms People), Ashiihi (Salt People), Naaneesht’ezhi Tachi’inii (Charcoal Streaked of the Red Running into the Water People), and Tl’aashchi’i (Red Bottom People). In her role as the business development coordinator, Taylor supports AISES partners and business development initiatives and strategies.

In 2017, Taylor graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a management option from Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado. During her time in college, Taylor participated in the Washington Internships for Native Students and the Native American Political Leadership Program. Before joining AISES, Taylor worked in municipal and county government offices in New Mexico, gaining experience in administration and human resources.

Taylor enjoys beadwork, going to the gym, and exploring the outdoors with her husband, Micheal.
