Defend culture, land, and data in a digital world

The Firewall Cybersecurity Cohort is a year-long program for Native undergraduate students who want to explore cybersecurity, digital sovereignty, and careers in tech. Whether you’re new to the field or already studying it, this program will support you in protecting your community through digital defense.

Even if you’ve never taken a tech class before, The Firewall is a welcoming space to explore what cybersecurity looks like from an Indigenous lens — with support from mentors, peers, and experts in the field. Through monthly touchpoints, webinars, and travel to the AISES National Conference, you’ll connect with Native professionals and other students across the country who are walking similar paths.
