Serving as a Student Representative with AISES is a fun and memorable experience that not only allows you to build your network, but also enables you to develop and strengthen your communication, leadership, and other professional skills. Represent and advocate for the needs of other College/University students within AISES and make lifelong connections along the way.
The program is made up of four national student representatives and seven regional representatives. The US and Canadian National Student Representatives serve as liaisons for the Regional Student Representatives and are also non-voting members of the Board of Directors. They are elected by the AISES student members at the annual National Conference and Canadian National Gathering respectively and serve a two-year term.
The Regional Student Representatives work as liaisons for AISES college chapters and correspond with the seven geographical AISES regions. Regional Student Representatives are elected each year at the annual Spring Regional Conferences by members in their region and serve a one-year term.
