2018 AISES National Conference

Save the date for the 2018 AISES National Conference, October 4-6, 2018 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma! Thank you for attending and being a part of the 2017 AISES National Conference!

Fall 2017 Winds of Change Magazine

The Winds of Change fall issue, available now in print and online at aises.org, is always special because it coincides with the main event in the AISES calendar – the National Conference. A principal goal of every conference – and our mission year-round – is fostering the growth of STEM opportunities for indigenous people and communities. As part of that effort, we are expanding our focus on tribal and Native-owned STEM enterprises. Here in Winds of Change, you’ll find our inaugural look at 25 Native STEM enterprises to watch. Also, as in the movie Hidden Figures, we’ve picked three of the many – mostly unsung – women who’ve pioneered in the sciences, and we’re shining a light on their contributions as part of our look at hidden Native figures. In addition, you’ll read about the winners of this year’s prestigious Professional Awards.
