Native Financial Cents (NFC)

Supporting Financial Capability for Native American Youth

AISES is thrilled to announce the expansion of our Native Financial Cents (NFC) program made possible by a generous grant from Wells Fargo of $200,000. The NFC program was created to engage Native communities in supporting financial education for elementary, middle, high school, and young adults.

Utilizing Wells Fargo’s Hands on Banking® curriculum as the foundation, we created a culturally contextualized financial education program that incorporates Native customs, traditions, and culture so that content and supporting activities will be more relevant, easily understood, and applied by Native learners.

Interested in implementing NFC?

We are looking for educators and community members that serve Native youth (7-12th grade) interested in training and implementing NFC at your site. We provide the training, curriculum, and workbooks!

Bring the AISES Adventure to your school!

The NFC AISES Adventure is a financial literacy experience designed by AISES. This activity offers Native youth the opportunity to practice handling money and to spend it wisely. Students are given fake money, roles to play, and must make informed spending decisions to purchase a car, housing, groceries, taxes, student loans, etc.
