Judges needed for 2023 NAISEF!

Call for Volunteer Judges and Scientific Review Committee Members

 

AISES seeks your involvement in 2023 National American Indian Science and Engineering Fair (NAISEF) which will be held on March 31 and April 1 in Stillwater, Okla. The NAISEF is an affiliated fair with the Society for Science that aims to support Indigenous students in allowing their culture and STEM knowledge to shine through. NAISEF encourages student competitors in grades 5 through 12 from across the U.S.

 

We are seeking in-person and virtual judges for the NAISEF including members for the Scientific Review Committee (SRC). Our SRC members will review Senior Division (grades 9-12) applications to ensure that they meet the International Science and Engineering Fair guidelines in research.

 

We are in search of the following volunteer professionals:
  • Health professional (nurse practitioner, physician, registered nurse, etc.)
  • Biomedical scientist
  • Mental health professional (psychologist, psychiatrist, etc.)
  • High school teacher

SRC members will receive training and are required to commit to approximately 2-3 hours a month between November 2022 and February 2023 to review applications.
