AISES Scholarship and Internship Applications Now Open

Beginning in the 2018-19 Academic Year, AISES will utilize the Online Scholarship Application Information System (OASIS) provided by Indigenous Education, Inc. In OASIS, students will complete a General Application Profile that can be completed, revised and submitted year-round and will match you with the scholarship opportunities you are eligible for. Students must apply separately to each scholarship opportunity.

In addition, AISES student members will have easy access to scholarships opportunities provided by Indigenous Education, Inc. and other organizations using the OASIS platform.

All of the scholarships have different eligibility criteria. Just because you do not qualify for other scholarships offered on this website, do not assume you will not qualify for AISES or other scholarships. Be sure to read the specific requirements carefully.

Scholarship Opportunities - Deadline: January 12, 2018

  • AISES Travel Scholarships for the 2018 Leadership Summit
    Travel assistance for full-time undergraduate or graduate students pursuing degrees in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) fields to attend the 2018 AISES Leadership Summit in Alpine, CA. Awards will vary in amount. and are meant to help Scholarships will cover a roundtrip, economy airfare, lodging, and conference registration.

Internship Opportunities - Deadline: February 16, 2018

  • BMM Test Labs Internship
    One position is now available with AISES partner, BMM Test Labs. The internship will be located in Las Vegas, NV. The ideal student will have a background in computer science, computer engineering or electrical engineering. Additionally, ideal candidate should be completing bachelor or graduate degree and be eligible for employment.

Scholarship Opportunities - Deadline: March 31, 2018

  • AISES A. T. Anderson Memorial Scholarship
    $1,000 for undergraduates or $2,000 for graduate students. Open to students pursuing degrees in Mathematics, Medical Sciences, Physical Science, Technology, Science, Engineering, or Natural Resources.
  • AISES Chevron Corporation Scholarship
    $5,000 for the academic year for undergraduate or graduate students. Must be pursuing a degree that is beneficial to Chevron business and have an interest in the energy industry. This may include STEM degrees as well as business related studies.
  • AISES Intel Growing the Legacy Scholarship Program
    $5,000 for undergraduate students and $10,000 for graduate students. Open to students pursuing degrees in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, and Electrical Engineering. Chemical Engineering and Material Science will also be considered. This Program also includes a paid internship opportunity for summer of 2019.
  • AISES Oracle Academy Scholarship
    $2,500 for undergraduates or $10,000 for graduate students. Open to students pursuing degrees in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
  • AISES Burlington North Santa Fe (BNSF) Foundation Scholarship
    $2,500 per academic year for high school seniors who reside in one of the 13 states serviced by the BNSF. Open to students pursuing degrees Business, Finance, Mathematics, Natural/Physical Sciences, Technology, Engineering, Education, Medicine or Health Administration.
