U.S. Navy Captain, Navy Reserves. A native of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, I graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1982 and have served in U.S. and Allied positions in the submarine force, U.S. Atlantic fleet and in various Navy headquarters staff for 27 years. Civilian occupation: Executive Consultant, IBM. Responsible for IBM's sales, support and marketing process transformation strategy worldwide. I lead global teams to develop process and IT transformation strategies, including Lean Sigma, to better support IBM's customers. Industry Fellow at the National Defense University, Industrial College of the Armed Forces, Fort McNair, Washington, D.C. This is the premier senior service school for the U.S. Department of Defense and other governmental departments and agencies designed to teach strategic thinking at the highest levels. |
