Alyssa Vigil
AISES Undergraduate
My name is Alyssa Vigil, I am 18 years old and reside in Colorado. I will be attending Fort Lewis College in the fall of 2009 as an undergraduate. I will play lacrosse for their Division Two program, and continue my education to become a teacher. I have taught in a summer program called Breakthrough for the past two summers, and I volunteer through out the school year. Through the Breakthrough program I have expanded my love of teaching, and used the program to reach out to the minority students in my community, showing the students that we shouldn't let other peoples' ignorance hold us back. |
